The first meeting of the anti-corruption group will take place soon

In Kyiv, a meeting of the working group "Transparency and Accountability" is set to occur shortly with the participation of law enforcement and the public, where they plan to address issues related to land dealings in the capital.

This was announced on his social media page by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко.

“We are preparing for the first meeting of the working group 'Transparency and Accountability.' This is also the first initiative in the city's history that will allow us to examine resource management issues from not only the perspective of officials but also through the collective expertise of law enforcement and anti-corruption agencies,” wrote Timur Tkachенко.

According to him, the first meeting will focus on reviewing high-profile investigations by NABU regarding the so-called “toilet schemes.”

The land grab, Tkachенко noted, not only impacts the city budget but also harms honest entrepreneurs. There are numerous real cases of conscientious businesses suffering from dishonest manipulations involving municipal land.

In light of this, the head of the KМВА urged the public and entrepreneurs who have been affected by such schemes, or who have knowledge of them, to provide information by filling out the feedback form:

“Representatives of the KМВА will contact you to discuss the specifics of the case from which you or other conscientious taxpayers have suffered. We will make a decision regarding your potential participation in the group's meeting,” assured Timur Tkachенко.

Recall that earlier the head of the KМВА cited the functioning of a scheme for seizing land plots in the capital, using Verboova Street near the "Pochayna" metro station as an example.
