The Security Service of Ukraine, in collaboration with the National Police, continues the nationwide information campaign “Burn the FSB Agent”

This campaign aims to combat the recruitment of youth by Russian special services and to prevent arson, terrorist acts, and sabotage. Crimes such as arson of property belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, state institutions, or their mining are classified under the Criminal Code of Ukraine as terrorism or sabotage. Severe criminal liability is provided for these offenses, even for minors.

This was reported by the SBU.

One component of the information campaign is the social video “Burn the FSB Agent,” prepared by the SBU together with Ukrainian filmmaker Lyubomyr Levytsky. The video informs citizens, particularly the youth, about the inevitability of punishment for such crimes. Russian special services actively “hunt” minors online, offering them criminal “side jobs.”

Throughout 2024, the SBU and the National Police detained over 450 individuals who engaged in arson in Ukraine on the orders of Russian curators. In fact, Ukrainian law enforcement agencies are identifying all perpetrators of these crimes. Instead of “easy money,” the suspects receive charges from the SBU and the prospect of imprisonment.

The video depicts the story of two minors—a boy and a girl—who agreed to the proposal of FSB curators to commit a crime but were apprehended by the Ukrainian special service.

Using the key message – “Don’t burn your own! Burn the enemy!”, the SBU urges youth to report any attempts of recruitment to the special chatbot “Burn the FSB Agent” t.me/spaly_fsb_bot.

To do this, it is sufficient to provide details of the enemy’s proposals, as well as the phone number or nickname of the person who was trying to lure them into committing a crime. The information provided is confidential and is thoroughly verified by Security Service employees. The data obtained will help the SBU to counteract the intelligence and sabotage activities of Russian special services even more effectively.

Since the launch of the “Burn the FSB Agent” chatbot in mid-December 2024, over 1300 messages have been received. All of them concerned attempts by representatives of Russian special services to involve Ukrainians in various crimes aimed at destabilizing the situation in our country and reducing its defense capabilities.
