The vast majority of surveyed Ukrainians (76%) reported increased spending over the past year, according to a survey conducted by Rakuten Viber.

At the same time, 14% of respondents are trying to save and have reduced their expenses. Another 10% stated that their spending habits remain unchanged.

Approximately half of those surveyed (49%) are planning only significant and/or regular expenses, such as utility bills. An additional 27% plan any expenses in advance. Meanwhile, 15% of respondents see no point in planning. Furthermore, 9% express a desire to plan but have not yet started doing so.

The research methodology involved an anonymous online survey, with a sample size of n>39,000. The key age group is 34-45 years, with over 50% of respondents being under 45 years old.
