Enterprises whose infrastructure has been destroyed or damaged by the enemy and located in areas of active combat will have the right to restructure their debts, announced Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"The relevant criteria for heat suppliers and water companies were approved at today's government meeting. We are also outlining the procedure for applying for debt restructuring. This will help reduce the debt burden on critical infrastructure enterprises in frontline areas, ensuring a successful heating season," - wrote Shmyhal on his Telegram channel following the government meeting on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister noted that as of today, nearly 100% of all facilities — residential buildings, hospitals, schools, and kindergartens — are connected to heating, with the problematic areas being Kherson, suffering from enemy shelling, and Kryvyi Rih.
"Active repair and restoration work continues in these cities," - he summarized.
