NEC "Ukrenergo" will implement power restrictions for industry and businesses on Friday for a total of 14 hours: from 6 AM to 8 PM, which is 2 hours less than previously announced for Thursday.
"Tomorrow, February 21, power restrictions for industry and businesses will be in place from 06:00 to 20:00. Currently, there are no forecasts for household consumer disconnections," the message from NEC states on Telegram.
As reported, on Thursday, industrial consumers were expected to face restrictions from 5 AM to 9 PM.
The reason for the temporary restrictions is damage to energy facilities due to Russian missile and drone attacks, notes "Ukrenergo."
They emphasize that energy workers are striving to restore the equipment damaged by the enemy as quickly as possible, and changes to the restriction schedules may occur.
As previously explained by NEC, power restrictions for industry and businesses mean reducing power to a certain level.
