Throughout October, there was only one day in Kyiv without an air raid alert
Last night, Russian occupiers attacked Kyiv with strike drones for the twentieth time since the beginning of October, approaching in waves and from various directions. As a result of debris from the downed UAVs, damage to civilian infrastructure has been recorded in the city.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.
“Air raid alerts were declared twice in the capital throughout the night, totaling two and a half hours. All Russian drones threatening Kyiv were neutralized by air defense and electronic warfare forces,” noted the KVMU.
At the same time, the military administration pointed out that as a result of this attack in the Podilskyi district, debris from drones fell, causing a fire in an open area, which was promptly extinguished. Windows in two two-story residential buildings and an administrative building were also damaged.
According to the KVMU, there is information about damage to a high-voltage power line. However, unlike previous days, no information regarding casualties has been reported.
Summarizing October, the KVMU emphasized that regarding enemy air attacks, this month has been tense for Kyiv: 20 full-scale drone strikes in the air, with only one day in the capital without an alert over 31 days. Generally, Kyiv residents heard sirens on average twice a day.
“This indicates the constant, systematic terror against the peaceful civilian population of Ukraine,” concluded the KVMU.
As a reminder, on the night of October 30, Russian occupiers conducted the nineteenth air attack with strike drones on Kyiv during the month. In the Solomianskyi district, nine people were injured, and damage was caused to civilian infrastructure.
