The radiation background does not exceed the norm
At the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, efforts are ongoing to mitigate the consequences of the Russian UAV strike on the protective structures of the fourth power unit.

This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“As of the morning of February 19, rescuers continue to extinguish smoldering hotspots and are working to partially uncover the shelter structures,” the statement says.
The radiation background at the Chernobyl site remains within normal limits, and the situation is under control.
