In November, the official was notified of suspicion regarding negligence in office
The former head of the Kyiv Metro, Viktor Brahinets, has been added to the database of individuals wanted for evading pre-trial investigation.
The relevant entry can be found on the Ministry of Internal Affairs website.
According to the record, the official was last seen on June 20, 2024, in Kyiv.
As a reminder, in November, Brahinets was notified of suspicion under part 2 of Article 367 – negligence in office that caused severe consequences.
According to the investigation materials, Brahinets' improper performance of his official duties led to the depressurization of the metro tunnel and subsequent flooding in the area between the "Demiivska" and "Lybidska" stations. As a result, from December 2023 to March 2024, the capital's budget suffered losses exceeding 138.5 million UAH.
The notification of suspicion was sent to Brahinets' official registration and residence addresses, as he did not appear for a previously issued summons.
