The Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, Oksana Zholnovich, states that the share of state enterprises in providing rehabilitation aids is no more than 5%.
"We have over 100 enterprises supplying rehabilitation aids. The vast majority of these companies are private. Speaking of the share of rehabilitation aid provision by state or public enterprises, there were 12 before their transfer to the State Property Fund, which accounted for no more than 5% of the entire market. Their share in overall provision is quite low," Zholnovich said at a press conference on Monday in Kyiv.
Regarding the privatization of such enterprises, the minister noted that the State Property Fund assesses the viability of each one when making decisions, and in the case of privatization, there is a mandatory condition to maintain the profile.
"Perhaps there will be additional investments that will give the enterprise a second life. But for now, we have paused these processes; everything will remain as it is," she added.
