The decision on economic reservations has been delayed; entrepreneurs are open to any model, according to Yancheko.

The topic of economic reservation remains highly relevant, but it has shifted from an economic to a political issue. The discussion surrounding the adoption of such a tool has dragged on for so long that business associations and entrepreneurs are now willing to accept any model, just to see it approved and put into action, stated Galina Yanchenko, a member of parliament and chair of the parliamentary temporary special commission (VSK) on investor rights protection.
Вопрос с экономическим бронированием затянулся, и предприниматели готовы рассмотреть любые варианты, отметил Янченко.

The topic of economic reservation remains highly relevant; however, it has shifted from an economic to a political one. The issue of adopting such a tool has been prolonged to the point that business associations and entrepreneurs are now ready to accept any model, just to see it approved and implemented, stated Galina Yancheko, a member of parliament and chair of the temporary special commission (TSC) on investor rights protection.

"There have been numerous discussions regarding the models of economic reservation. But to be honest, the acceptance of this tool has been delayed so much that business associations and entrepreneurs are willing to consider any model, just to have it accepted and operational," Yancheko said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

She reminded that economic reservation was proposed to prevent the collapse of enterprises and consequently the economy, suggesting that business owners should have the discretion to reserve key employees under certain conditions.

Yancheko also noted that various models of economic reservation were considered under different conditions: "from an additional fee of 20,000 hryvnias for each key employee to an average salary of 35,000 hryvnias or more per enterprise."

"I regret that this issue (the adoption of the economic reservation model – IF-U) is still being discussed rather than resolved. We must remember the well-known saying by Winston Churchill: 'Armies win battles, but it is the economy that wins wars.' We need a balance between the mobilization needs of the General Staff and the country's overall needs to maintain the economy. This balance must be taken into account," emphasized the MP.
