The increase in the number of industrial parks is being recorded in the western regions of Ukraine and the Kyiv region, indicating a real "boom," said Deputy Minister of Economy Andriy Teliupa.
"Finally, industrial parks are not just on paper; they are actually being built. There is significant demand from both Ukrainian businesses and foreign investors. The government has started to provide real funds – compensation for infrastructure creation," he stated in an interview with the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
As noted by the deputy minister, according to the Ministry of Economy's estimates, for every hryvnia of state support, there are 6-7 hryvnias of private investment.
He explained that the ministry only supports 15 parks, as funding is provided only to those where construction and production are genuinely underway.
Teliupa emphasized that if demand increases, the Ministry of Economy could reallocate budget funds or attract additional donor resources.
As reported, state support for industrial parks includes exemption from import VAT and customs duties on equipment in the absence of Ukrainian analogs and its exclusive use within the park, as well as a 10-year corporate income tax exemption when reinvesting funds into the development of the enterprise.
In 2025, the government plans to allocate 1 billion hryvnias (as in 2024) for the construction and modernization of the industrial infrastructure of industrial parks.
There are 100 industrial (industrial) parks registered in the registry.
