NEC "Ukrenergo" has lifted the emergency power outage schedules (GEO) that were implemented due to missile attacks on energy facilities during the night and morning on Tuesday.
"Currently, after stabilizing the situation in the energy system, the GEO has been canceled. All consumers who were without power will be reconnected shortly," - reported the system operator.
According to the company, electricity consumption in Ukraine continues to increase. Specifically, on February 11, as of 6:00 AM, the level was 4% higher than at the same time the previous day - Monday.
In turn, on February 10, the daily maximum consumption recorded in the morning was 1.4% higher than the maximum of the previous working day - Friday, February 7.
"The reason for such changes is the establishment of cold weather across Ukraine and the traditional increase in consumption at the beginning of the workweek," - noted NEC.
"Ukrenergo" reminded that to balance the energy system - on Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, power limitation schedules are being applied for industry and business.
"For household consumers, consumption limitation measures are not currently in effect. However, there is a need for very economical electricity consumption throughout the day," - emphasized the system operator.
According to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine on Tuesday, over the past day, energy workers restored power to 65,648 consumers who were disconnected due to military actions.
