The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, during a meeting on Monday, January 13, allocated an additional 5 billion UAH from the state budget reserve fund for the implementation of the "Winter eSupport" program, reported Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"Thus, all applications for assistance submitted by Ukrainians will be fulfilled, allowing people to receive funds that they can spend on utilities, medical, educational, and other services," the statement indicated.
It was noted that the government has improved the mechanism for disbursing funds to individuals over 60 years old, individuals with disabilities of groups I and II receiving disability pensions or social assistance through banking institutions, and for incapacitated persons upon the request of their guardians.
"These citizens will receive their thousand hryvnias through "Ukrposhta," the Prime Minister emphasized.
