The nationwide discussion of the draft law on credit history (No. 12260) has commenced in Ukraine.
The resolution of the Verkhovna Rada dated February 11 regarding the nationwide discussion of the credit history law project was published in the "Voice of Ukraine" on Tuesday, marking the start of the public debate on the bill.
According to the press service of the Verkhovna Rada apparatus, the nationwide discussion of the bill will continue until March 14, 2025, via the "Public Discussion of Draft Laws" portal of the Verkhovna Rada.
Ukrainian citizens registered on the "Electronic Citizen Cabinet" portal of the Verkhovna Rada can participate in the discussion of the law project.
Registration on the "Electronic Citizen Cabinet" portal is available for users with a qualified electronic signature (QES, secure carrier, file carrier, "Diia.Signature").
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada on February 11 sent the draft law on credit history for nationwide discussion for the first time by adopting the corresponding resolution.
According to the law on the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada (Art. 114), the parliament may decide to publish the draft law in the official printed publication ("Voice of Ukraine" - IF-U) for nationwide discussion after considering the bill in the first reading, revising it by the main committee based on the discussion outcomes, and presenting it for a repeated first reading.
The draft law on credit history was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on November 28, 2024.
