On Thursday, during the morning rocket attack, a missile struck a gas extraction facility operated by DTEK in the Poltava region.
"The facility is not operational. An assessment of the damage and destruction is underway," - the energy holding reported on its Telegram channel.
As reported, due to another massive attack on energy facilities, production capacities of the Naftogaz group in the Poltava region were also damaged.
In particular, the Poltava Regional State Administration informed that nine settlements in the Myrhorod district were left without gas due to the Russian missile strike. No hits on civilian infrastructure were recorded.
Earlier, Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko stated that Russian aggressors attacked Ukraine's gas infrastructure on Tuesday night.
