"The government clearly emphasizes its priorities for 2025. We are approving a government Action Plan that includes nearly 400 steps across the responsibilities of all ministries and agencies," Shmyhal stated during a government meeting on Tuesday.

According to the Prime Minister, the plan includes commitments to partners under the Ukraine Facility program, the cooperation program with the IMF, as well as within the framework of the Euro-integration track.

"Responsible parties have been identified, deadlines have been marked, and clear indicators have been established to evaluate the results," he emphasized.

As reported by Cabinet representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk on his Telegram channel, the plan consists of tasks and activities that specify the pathways to achieve the government's goals and priorities. These include tasks aimed at addressing socially significant problems caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which are necessary for the recovery of Ukraine during martial law and in the post-war period; the need to fulfill Ukraine's international legal obligations that require government decisions, particularly in the area of European integration, taking into account the Report on Ukraine's progress within the framework of the EU Enlargement Package 2024, and the screening reports from the bilateral meetings between Ukraine and the EU within the negotiation process regarding Ukraine's accession to the EU, as well as in the framework of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund; execution of the planned tasks (steps) of Ukraine’s Plan (the European Union initiative Ukraine Facility); the legislative work plan of the Verkhovna Rada for 2025; the necessity of approaching membership in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), particularly by joining legal instruments and bodies of the OECD; and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
