The industrial park "Formation.Lviv" (Sihnovka, Lviv region) has received over 114 million UAH in funding from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine as part of the "Made in Ukraine" program for the construction and development of infrastructure, reported the press service of the developer and managing company of the project, Alterra Group, to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
"The funding obtained allows for the implementation of infrastructure solutions that will open up new opportunities for attracting investors and residents. This contributes to the creation of an industrial ecosystem where enterprises can thrive in a modern infrastructure environment. Additionally, it further strengthens the region's position as an economic center, facilitating its industrialization and investment attraction," said the commercial director of the industrial park, Maksym Lozovskyi.
The "Formation.Lviv" industrial park is a municipal park created by Alterra Group in collaboration with the Lviv City Council, the Kyiv School of Economics, and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. Alterra Group was selected as the managing company of the industrial park through an open competition.
The funds allocated by the Ministry of Economy are intended for the implementation of key infrastructure communications, particularly energy supply, water supply, wastewater management, and sewage systems. A total of 63 million 722 thousand 397 UAH has been allocated for the construction of power supply networks with a capacity of 10,000 kW, along with an additional 16 million 415 thousand 240 UAH for the provision of power supply with a capacity of 1,350 kW. For the reconstruction of the Kholodnovidka pumping sewage station, 13 million 177 thousand 145.50 UAH is allocated. The reconstruction includes the modernization of two pressure pipeline lines to reduce accidents and ensure environmental well-being in the nearby areas.
For the construction of a complex of production, administrative, and auxiliary buildings with external water supply and sewage networks within the park, 21 million 612 thousand 261 UAH has been allocated.
As reported by Alterra Group, the start of work is scheduled for the near future, with completion expected by the end of 2026.
The "Formation.Lviv" industrial park was included in the registry of industrial parks in October 2023. The concept envisions the placement of production enterprises with added value over an area of more than 30 hectares, totaling over 150 thousand square meters, including the establishment of prototyping laboratories, an R&D center, coworking spaces, a conference hall, and a business incubator for startups. Investments in the construction of the park, attracted by the managing company, are expected to total over 5 billion UAH. The creation of the park is anticipated to generate an additional 3,600 jobs in the city.
As clarified by the press service of the company to the Interfax-Ukraine agency, contracts for approximately 20 thousand square meters of space have already been signed.
“We are creating several facilities in a build-to-suit format within the industrial park. One space is designated for the production of sandwich panels, and another for the production of various products made from thermoplastic polymers, taking into account the individual wishes of clients and their business processes. The productions are expected to be operational as soon as next year,” the company stated.
