Over the course of a week, DTEK restored electricity supply for nearly 23,000 customers.

From December 2 to December 8, the energy operators of the distribution system (OSR) "DTEK Networks" successfully restored electricity supply, either fully or partially, to 25 settlements, bringing light back to nearly 23,000 households in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Kyiv regions.

Energy operators of the distribution system (OSS) "DTEK Networks" managed to fully or partially restore electricity supply to 25 settlements and bring light back to nearly 23 thousand families in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Kyiv regions from December 2 to 8.

"Dnipropetrovsk has been almost constantly suffering from enemy attacks, which regularly damage power lines, leaving residents without electricity. From December 2 to 8, our specialists were able to repair several network damages and restore power for 12.9 thousand families," the energy holding's press release stated on Monday.

Last week, the enemy once again struck a team of energy workers who were conducting repair work in a settlement near the combat zone. Thanks to the prompt actions of the team, no one was injured; however, the vehicle sustained significant damage: the cab and boom of the lift truck were destroyed. The energy workers were evacuated in another vehicle and taken to a safe location.

Donetsk region also remains the center of the most active hostilities, with daily shelling, drone, missile, and airstrikes. Despite the extremely difficult situation, "DTEK" specialists continue to restore power networks as soon as it becomes possible and military permission is granted for the work. Over the past week, electricity supply has been restored to 6.5 thousand local residents' homes in the region.

Kyiv region continues to suffer from enemy attacks as well—last week, energy workers restored power for 3.4 thousand families whose homes were left without electricity due to enemy assaults.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have restored electricity for more than 16.1 million families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Donbas, and the city of Kyiv. In some settlements close to the combat zone, we have restored power dozens of times," noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO of "DTEK Networks."

"DTEK Networks" is developing its business in electricity distribution and power grid operation in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Odesa regions. The company's OSS serves 5.5 million households and 158 thousand enterprises.
