On the morning of January 1, the Russian army launched a drone attack on Kyiv. As a result of the attack, the number of local residents affected increased to six.
This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko.
"Six people were injured as a result of the enemy attack on the capital," the city mayor's statement reads.
The Russians attacked Kyiv on the first day of the new year. Destruction has been recorded in two areas of the capital.
