On the night of February 26, Russian forces launched yet another attack on Kharkiv. The impacts of Russian drones were recorded in the Kyiv and Shevchenko districts of the city.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov.
Debris from the Russian UAV "Geran" struck a 9-story apartment building in the Kyiv district. A fire broke out in an apartment on the 2nd floor, causing partial damage to the wall and windows of the building. The fire spread over an area of 50 m².
Two individuals were injured, suffering acute stress reactions. Additionally, five more people were rescued.
A rapid response bus from the Kharkiv City Council was deployed at the scene to assist the residents of the building.
Furthermore, debris from the Russian UAV also landed on the roadway, damaging the windows of the apartment building, a university, an opera house, a café, the trolleybus contact network, and more.
