He called on neighboring countries of the DPRK, particularly China, to influence the situation so that the Korean people do not “lose their people in battles in Europe.”
It is worth noting that earlier, South Korean intelligence claimed that Ukrainian special operations forces had captured a soldier from North Korea for the first time in captivity.
Prior to this, Telegram channels circulated photos of what appeared to be a North Korean prisoner. Subsequently, South Korean intelligence reported, citing data from a “friendly country,” that the captured North Korean soldier died from injuries.
