In the Kherson region, a man injured in a Russian shelling has died in the hospital.

A man who was injured in a Russian shelling on January 5 has died in a hospital in the Kherson region.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Alexander Prokudin.

According to Prokudin, medical personnel fought until the end to save his life, but the injuries were too severe. The Kherson Regional Military Administration wrote that he suffered from a mine-explosive injury, as well as shrapnel wounds to his legs and torso.

Currently, the identity of the deceased is being established. It is known that he was caught in shelling in Antonovka near Kherson.

Situation on the Right Bank of Kherson Region

On January 5 at around 9:30 AM, Russian troops attacked the Dnipro District of Kherson using a drone. In the afternoon, the occupiers dropped explosives on a civilian in the same area.

Subsequently, the Ship District of Kherson, as well as the settlements of Kamyshany and Antonovka, came under Russian fire.

Throughout the day, the administration reported at least 13 injured. The day before, 9 people were wounded due to Russian aggression.
