Ukrainian drones are capable of striking targets at distances of up to two thousand kilometers, with explosions occurring predominantly at military facilities and defense industry enterprises within Russia.
This was stated by Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in an interview with "Novyny.LIVE".
When asked about potential drone attacks on the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region and other strategic military sites in Russia, Yusov noted that many details remain confidential.
Intelligence prefers silence, so not all operations can be commented on. However, it is already known that Ukrainian long-range drones can operate within a radius of up to two thousand kilometers, he emphasized.
Yusov highlighted that official statements regarding explosions on Russian territory are rarely provided, but such incidents are not coincidental.
Explosions occur at facilities that have a direct connection to military infrastructure, the defense industry, or the logistics of the aggressor's army, the GUR representative added.
Unlike the massive attacks by Russia on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure, which the international community recognizes as war crimes, the incidents in Russia are exclusively aimed at military targets, Yusov noted.
