Ukraine is calling for a fair investigation into the plane crash in Kazakhstan. This will prevent Russia from evading responsibility for the tragedy. This was stated by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sibiga.
The crash of the "Azerbaijan Airlines" plane is horrific. We express our condolences to Azerbaijan. It is notable that Russian media immediately began to lie about the causes of the crash, as well as claiming that Russia forced the damaged plane to fly over the sea.
The minister does not rule out that it was likely an attempt to cover up the evidence of their (the Russian Federation's) crime.
The more photos and videos emerge from the plane's cabin and after its crash, the more they indicate damage from the Russian missile system.
Sibiga noted that Ukraine is advocating for a fair and impartial investigation to ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
We must not allow Russia to lie, evade responsibility, or shift the blame.
