For many years, water has concealed old munitions
In the Holosiivskyi district, artillery shells of 76 mm caliber from World War II were discovered during the cleaning of the Lybid River bed.
Explosive ordnance disposal specialists from the Mobile Rapid Response Rescue Center promptly retrieved the munitions from the riverbed and transported them to a designated site for destruction.
Residents are reminded: if you encounter a suspicious object resembling a munition, do not touch it, do not attempt to move it, and immediately notify the rescuers by calling 101.
