Activists promise to monitor the regularity of payments
The Kyiv City Council has allocated over one billion hryvnias for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by the activists of the community “Money for the Armed Forces!”
“The Kyiv Council has allocated an additional 1.23 billion for the Defense Forces. Currently, the 'Defender of Kyiv' program has allocated 6.23 billion for 2025, of which 4.88 billion is directed towards subsidies for purchasing equipment for the frontline,” the statement reads.
At the same time, activists emphasized that they expect an additional allocation of 770 million hryvnias.
“If this does not happen, we will meet again outside the Kyiv City State Administration!” the representatives of the community warned the city authorities.
Let us remind you, the residents of Kyiv are urging the city authorities to establish a one-time financial assistance payment for Kyiv soldiers who defended Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to December 1, 2023.
