Syrysky reported in Telegram about the strengthening of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
He emphasized that during a meeting with commanders of unmanned systems and electronic warfare units, he paid special attention to enhancing the capabilities of the unmanned systems within the 155th brigade.
Additionally, Syrysky mentioned "problematic issues" that need to be addressed, without specifying what they were.
Furthermore, he noted that in December, the highest rates of enemy losses were recorded by the unmanned systems of the 46th Air Mobile Brigade, the 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade, the 28th Mechanized Brigade, the 3rd Assault Brigade, and the 35th Marine Brigade.
Recently, Butusov stated that 1700 servicemen from the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Anna of Kyiv deserted even before the unit made its first shot.
The journalist describes the formation of the brigade as a complete organizational chaos in virtually all aspects. According to him, since March, when the brigade was formed, a certain number of soldiers have been leaving the unit each month. By October, when the brigade went to training in France, there were already 935 soldiers absent without leave. In France itself, another 50 brigade members deserted.
The GDBR noted that the investigation "is examining the facts reported in the media," having opened criminal cases under articles concerning desertion and abuse of power by military officials.
