Russians launched a ballistic strike on Chernihiv, resulting in one fatality and several injuries (UPDATE).

This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Dmitry Brizhinsky and the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Chaus.

The head of the Military Administration noted that a group missile strike was carried out in the vicinity of the city.

According to preliminary information, two private houses were damaged. As a result of the strike, one civilian was injured.

Updated at 18:15. The head of the Regional State Administration stated that Russia launched a triple missile strike on residential buildings on the outskirts of Chernihiv.

It is known that there is one deceased and four injured individuals.

According to preliminary information, as a result of the shelling, two residential houses were partially destroyed, and the windows of seven residential buildings were damaged.

The rescue operation is ongoing. At the scene, law enforcement officers are assisting residents of the affected residential area, documenting the consequences of the enemy attack, and gathering evidence of the occupiers' war crimes.
