Российские спецслужбы замышляли взорвать украинских воинов в Киевской области.

The explosion was supposed to occur in a building housing one of the defense forces units

A homemade explosive device was placed in a tactical backpack that was to be delivered to a secure facility by a minor agent of the Russian special services, disguised in military uniform. The enemy tracked his movements in real-time and planned to detonate the explosive as soon as the young man entered the premises, reports SBU.

The agent, who was to be blown up, was unaware that a deadly fate awaited him. He believed that the explosives would be activated only after he exited the building.

The SBU counterintelligence service uncovered the enemy's plans in advance, preventing the terrorist attack. The minor terrorist and three other agents involved in planning this crime have been detained.

According to the investigation, the Russian special services aimed to destabilize the socio-political situation in Ukraine with this attack and create the illusion of conflict within the defense forces, where one "military" would blow up others in protest.

As per the investigation materials, all four individuals acted independently of one another but had a common curator from the Russian Federation.

One of the agents turned out to be a 16-year-old student from the Kirovohrad region. He received coordinates of a stash from the occupiers, where he took the explosives and military uniform.

Another network participant was a 19-year-old young man who, according to preliminary data, transported the explosives and military uniform from the "initial stash" to a cache, where they were collected by the 16-year-old agent.

The "initial stash" was set up by two residents of the Vinnytsia region. They created the explosive device and concealed it following a video instruction from a representative of the enemy's special services.

During searches, mobile phones containing evidence of their collaboration with the aggressor were seized from the detainees. Additionally, one of the agents had explosive materials for making a homemade weapon.
