Transfer of Air Force personnel to infantry: the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared information on where to file complaints.

The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has clarified where military personnel can report unauthorized transfers to other branches of the military.

This is reported on the page of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, they provide the phone number and email of the Air Force Command: 0800500410-2-5, callcenter.ps@ps.mil.gov.ua

Additionally, they remind the contacts of the air commands:

  • “Center” — phone: (095-76) 8-63-98, email: pvk_c@ps.mil.gov.ua;
  • “South” — 050 934 8119, pivden.air@ukr.net;
  • “West” — 0 322 355 589, vppp1mpz@gmail.com;
  • “East” — 0800500410-2-4, szg_a2533@ps.mil.gov.ua.

“If such cases occur, please report them, and there will be an appropriate response,” the Air Force Command noted.

At the same time, they emphasized that currently, high-tech military accounting specialties have been identified, for which the transfer of Air Force personnel to other branches and types of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is prohibited.

We remind you that earlier the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that his order is in effect, which prohibits the transfer of highly qualified personnel who have undergone training and specialize in aircraft maintenance to other military branches.

“These are definitely specialists, resources that have been invested, who have experience and are practically irreplaceable,” Syrskyi emphasized.

At the same time, the Commander of the Armed Forces noted that due to the situation at the front, it is necessary to “raise an adequate number of personnel in our mechanized brigades.”

“Unfortunately, the mobilization capabilities do not cover this need,” Syrskyi explained.

More on the transfer of Air Force military personnel

On December 14, military personnel reported the transfer of specialists from the Air Force to units of other branches and types of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including infantry. They highlighted the risks of aircraft maintenance due to such a decision, which consequently leads to issues with the combat readiness of aviation brigades.

Members of parliament claimed that this allegedly was the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.

The command assured that the specialists in short supply remain in their positions, and only certain categories of personnel reinforce other branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Against this backdrop, President Volodymyr Zelensky instructednot to reduce the number of specialists needed for our aviation, air defense, and mobile fire groups.” Subsequently, a special commission was established in the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to study the situation regarding the transfer of military personnel.
