The developer of the "Toloka" series of underwater drones has unveiled a new model of the kamikaze underwater drone TLK-150, which was presented for the first time in the last two years. This occurred during a demonstration of the achievements of the Ukrainian defense industry to Western partners at the Support Ukraine summit, with a video (TLK-150 appears at 0:24) shared by Volodymyr Zelensky.

Recent photos and information about this drone surfaced back in 2023 during its initial presentation. Since then, judging by the available footage, the design of the TLK-150 has undergone some changes.

The first noticeable change is that the electric motors have been relocated from the stabilizers to the rear of the hull, which has reduced the dimensions of the TLK-150, making it easier to transport.

More significant modifications have been made to the hull and rudders. In the new version, the keel and horizontal stabilizers in the center, which previously held the motors, have been completely removed. Now, the motors and all control surfaces are positioned at the tail end, giving the underwater drone a more "torpedo-like" appearance.

Overall, this new version resembles a production model more than the prototype presented in 2023. Therefore, it is quite likely that the TLK-150 will soon be adopted by Ukraine.

The TLK-150 is a kamikaze underwater drone with a warhead mass ranging from 20 kg to 50 kg. It has a length of 2.5 meters and an operational range of up to 100 km. The drone is equipped with a daytime and thermal imaging camera, along with GPS and communication antennas located on the above-water part of the drone.

In addition to the TLK-150, the "Toloka" family of kamikaze underwater drones includes larger and more powerful variants. Specifically, the TLK 400 has a length of 4-6 meters, a range of 1200 km, and a warhead mass of up to 500 kg. There is also a TLK 1000 version with a length of 4-12 meters, a range of 2000 km, and a payload capacity of 5000 kg.
