Russian forces launched a drone strike on a minibus on the highway near the village of Naddnipryanske in the Kherson region.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on January 8 at around 10:00 AM. As a result of the attack, a 70-year-old man was killed, and a 57-year-old passenger of the minibus was hospitalized with injuries. The victim was diagnosed with a concussion, blast and closed traumatic brain injuries, as well as an open fracture of the forearm.

In the city of Beryslav, drones targeted two streets. A local resident was killed (according to the regional military administration, he was 40 years old, while the prosecutor's office reported he was 52). Four other residents sustained injuries.

On the same day, around noon, in the Ship District of Kherson, the occupiers dropped explosives from a drone onto another civilian vehicle. Fortunately, no one was harmed.

Due to increased activity of Russian troops in Kherson, public transport to the villages of Naddnipryanske, Molodyzhne, and Inzhenerne has been temporarily suspended.

The day before, on January 7, Russian troops killed two people in the Kherson region and injured nine others. The occupiers shelled critical infrastructure and residential areas, damaging three apartment buildings and five private houses. The shelling also affected a gas pipeline, an outbuilding, a garage, a bus, as well as municipal and private transport.
