The occupiers dropped two bombs on a residential area in the Sveska community in Sumy region, resulting in five injuries. This was reported by the Sumy Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, on January 4, 2025, at approximately 14:30, the enemy dropped two guided aviation bombs on the civilian infrastructure of the Sveska community in the Shostka district.
One of the bombs hit a five-story residential building, while the other struck a neighboring residential area.
As a result of the attack, 10 civilians were injured, including two children — a 2-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy.
According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, one entrance of the apartment building has been destroyed, affecting 15 apartments, and around 700 windows have been damaged. An emergency rescue operation is underway, and it is likely that people may be trapped under the rubble.
The local authorities and the State Emergency Service units have set up a headquarters to address the aftermath of the enemy attack. 🔹 The headquarters is working on providing accommodation for the affected individuals.
