Occupiers launched an attack on Ukraine with 166 drones, of which air defense successfully shot down 90.

This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

They indicated that the occupiers launched the drones from Russian cities including Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The aerial assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 09:00, the downing of 90 "Shaheds" and drones of other types has been confirmed in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.

Another 72 decoy drones were lost in terms of location (without negative consequences).

Consequences of the Attack

According to data from the State Emergency Service, in one area of Kyiv region, a fire broke out at an industrial facility due to the fall of drone debris. A total of 81 rescuers and 24 units of equipment were deployed to the scene. The fire was extinguished.

In the Sumy Regional Military Administration, there were reports of an attack on the Lipovodolynska community, where debris damaged a private house.

The Chernihiv region also suffered from the Russian night attack.
