Zaporizhzhia shelling: the number of injured has risen to 31, with most requiring hospitalization.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

According to him, of the 31 injured, 22 individuals are currently hospitalized in moderate condition, including a two-month-old infant.

As a result of the shelling, one high-rise building was destroyed, and 30 others were damaged. Additionally, private homes and non-residential premises in the Shevchenkivskyi and Oleksandrivskyi districts of the city were also affected. Currently, utility workers are addressing the aftermath of the attack.

Strike on Zaporizhia

On the night of January 23, Russian forces launched a strike with ballistic missiles on Zaporizhia. As a result of the attack, a 47-year-old man was killed.

The enemy hit a residential building, which sustained significant damage from the shelling. Windows were shattered and the roof was damaged due to the blast wave. The occupiers also targeted an energy facility. Four emergency service rescuers, who were working to mitigate the consequences of the attack, sustained injuries.

As of 8 a.m. on January 23, more than 20,000 residents of Zaporizhia were left without electricity, and another 17,000 were without heating.
