New footage of "air shotguns" that not only take down enemy drones (video).

Our military appears to be scaling up a successful experiment with a new method for shooting down enemy drones.

At the end of December last year, the first uses of quite unusual FPV drones by our military appeared online. These drones were equipped with shotguns and demonstrated quite successful operations against reconnaissance drones of the Russian occupying forces.

Now, we have new footage showcasing the use of such weaponry in the hands of our military. Although publicly, as of today, these are more isolated incidents rather than widespread use of this method to combat Russian drones, it is quite likely that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are working on scaling up this technique.

In the footage below, we can see several episodes where a shotgun-equipped FPV drone approaches a Russian drone extremely closely and then successfully shoots it down, while the operator captures the fall of the Russian drone with the camera.

However, the interesting aspect of the video is that the "air shotgun" is also used against a Russian infantryman. Although the shot did not manage to eliminate the enemy soldier, it seems that a grenade was eventually dropped on the enemy using the same FPV shotgun.

Previously, Defense Express reported that Ukrainian anti-aircraft FPV drones hit targets deep in the rear, which is indeed significant news as it greatly limits the Russians' ability to use reconnaissance wings.

Among the latest interesting news regarding FPV drones, it is also worth noting that our military now launches them from surface drones. Specifically, this method was used to destroy two Russian Pantsir-type anti-aircraft gun systems in the Kherson region.
