Nine "Shahed" drones were shot down over Ukraine. One person was injured due to the Russian attack.

On the night of December 29, Russian forces launched six surface-to-air missiles and carried out drone attacks on Ukraine. Specifically, the Defense Forces intercepted nine Shahed drones.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

Russian forces launched S-300/S-400 surface-to-air missiles from the Belgorod region towards the Kursk region in Russia and the Sumy region in Ukraine. Meanwhile, "Shahed" drones and other types of UAVs were flying from the occupied Crimea.

Units of anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare, and mobile fire groups shot down 9 "Shaheds" and other types of drones, all over the Mykolaiv region.

According to Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, an administrative building at an energy facility in the Black Sea community caught fire due to debris, but the fire has already been extinguished. A 49-year-old worker was injured, and his condition is stable.

Additionally, there was a strike on an unused building.

In Ochakiv, debris from the downed drones caused a fire in three utility structures and a house in a recreational area. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze.
