The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has signed a law for the dissolution of medical and social expert commissions (MSEC) effective January 1, 2025.
This is confirmed by the legislative card for bill No. 12178.
Starting January 1, 2025, a large-scale reform will commence in Ukraine: the evaluation of daily functioning will replace the MSEC.
The government assures that the process of obtaining disability status will be significantly simplified, as most procedures will be streamlined and digitized.
All stages of the evaluation will be recorded in an electronic system, which aims to eliminate corrupt practices.
