The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has resumed operations for the first three notarial registers following a large-scale enemy cyber attack. This was reported by the agency's press service.
The following registers are now operational:
- Unified Register of Powers of Attorney,
- Inheritance Register,
- Unified Register of Special Forms for Notarial Documents.
Notaries can now fully register powers of attorney, wills, and inheritance cases, as well as verify special forms.
All notarial actions that were carried out during the period of inaccessibility to the registers will be recorded within 5 working days. Enhanced cybersecurity measures have been implemented.
On December 20, Justice Minister Olga Stefanishyna stated that the Russians conducted the largest external cyber attack on Ukraine's state registers in recent times. The registers under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine were temporarily suspended.
