Latvia has prepared to transfer over 1000 drones to Ukraine. It is known that these will be unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Latvia, Andris Spruds, on the social media platform X (Twitter).
According to Spruds, the last batch of drones for Ukraine this year consists of more than 1000 combat drones of different types.
"Together with Latvian drone manufacturers, we continue to support Ukraine. The final batch has been prepared, consisting of over 1000 combat drones of various types," wrote Spruds.
He reminded that the coalition of drones is led by Latvia and the United Kingdom. According to the minister, in 2025, Latvia will allocate an additional 20 million euros for the purchase of drones as part of the coalition.
