The government approved the dismissal of the heads of the Kyiv and Poltava regional military administrations on December 28. This was announced by Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the Cabinet in the Verkhovna Rada.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the dismissal of:
- Ruslan Kravchenko from the position of head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration;
- Philipp Pronin from the position of head of the Poltava Regional State Administration.

Kravchenko was appointed to his position in April 2023, while Pronin was appointed in October 2023.
The names of the new leaders for the Poltava and Kyiv regional military administrations have not yet been disclosed.
According to media reports, Ruslan Kravchenko is one of the key candidates for the position of Attorney General. He has experience working in the prosecutor's office and served in the Main Military Prosecutor's Office of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine from 2015 to 2019.
