The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held a meeting with business representatives during his working visit to Uzhhorod.
"Uzhhorod. I met with representatives of businesses operating in Transcarpathia that can support our economic platform 'Made in Ukraine.' In particular, there were many representatives from relocated businesses from Kharkiv, Melitopol, Dnipro, and Nikopol," - wrote Zelensky on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.
The President emphasized the importance of businesses and workers remaining in Ukraine, preserving jobs, and helping the state maintain stability.
Zelensky discussed with business representatives the support for enterprises, credit programs, and energy supply. He also thanked everyone who supports the country through their work.
As reported by the press service of the head of state, the meeting addressed the issue of supporting relocated businesses, expanding the 'Affordable Loans 5-7-9%' program for local businesses, launching targeted credit programs, ensuring uninterrupted energy supply for enterprises, and reserving workers.
According to First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko, about 400 relocated businesses are registered in Transcarpathia, with the number of new ones increasing, making the region a leader in this type of business.
She expressed hope that all programs under the 'Made in Ukraine' platform would continue in 2025.
