The press service of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released a video showing soldiers from the GUR MOU units hunting a crew of a Russian reconnaissance drone of the "Orlan" type.
The "Orlan" crew of the Russian occupation forces was detected in the Zaporizhzhia direction by GUR MOU scouts using a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone of the "Shark" type from the company "Ukrspetsystems" (part of NAUDI).
Our drone captured the movement of vehicles and subsequently the actual deployment of the drone, during which it was destroyed.
Initially, a strike was carried out on the enemy position with cluster munitions, and the video indicates that this was a strike from the HIMARS rocket system. After that, the equipment and the "Orlan" itself were finished off using FPV drones.
Recall that at the end of January this year, "Ukrspetsystems" presented a new model in the line of "Shark" reconnaissance drones, which have proven effective in the arsenal of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
This concerns the SHARK-M, which, as noted by the company, is the most advanced universal reconnaissance drone in this ecosystem.
This drone has received new, more powerful batteries, improved resilience against enemy electronic warfare means, and enhanced crew protection.
