The fighters of the "Ronins" unit, part of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade on the Zaporizhzhia front, destroyed three Russian occupation forces' air defense systems in just one day.
On their social media channels, the unit shared a video showcasing the destruction of three enemy surface-to-air missile systems - one of the "Tor" type and two "Buk" types.
It is noted that the drones used for these strikes were supplied by the community of Sternenko. As emphasized by the volunteer, both the skill of the operators and the fact that the drones are provided based on specific requests according to the tasks assigned to each unit play a significant role in hitting such targets behind enemy lines.
In any case, it is important to highlight that the destruction of three enemy SAMs within a single day is truly an extraordinary achievement, demonstrating the high level of effectiveness of the unit.
And if we talk about striking targets deep in the rear, it’s worth mentioning an interesting episode that occurred earlier this year, also related to the destruction of enemy air defense systems.
Specifically, the anti-aircraft missile and gun system "Pantsir" and the "Osa" SAM were destroyed by FPV drones - however, the key point was that these drones were launched from a surface drone.
Earlier, Defense Express reported that Ukrainian FPV drones hit targets deep in the rear.
