The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, is preparing a request to the High Anti-Corruption Court for an administrative lawsuit regarding the nationalization of assets and corporate rights of the Public Joint Stock Company "Poltava Mining and Processing Plant," the SBI reports.
"In particular, the nationalization of 541 real estate properties owned by the enterprise is proposed, as well as 172 land plots that are under early lease to the plant for 49 years. Additionally, the procedure may encompass 2,382 railway cars and 53,331 linear meters of access tracks," the agency's statement noted on Thursday.
According to the bureau, the court is also asked to consider the transfer of corporate rights amounting to 49.5% of the charter capital of the Public Joint Stock Company "Poltava GOK" to the state.
The SBI reminds that on September 20, 2024, investigators of the bureau submitted an indictment to the Kyiv District Court of Kharkiv against seven officials of the plant. According to the investigation, the management of the enterprise, owned by a fugitive oligarch, embezzled over 370 million UAH.
As part of the pre-trial investigation, a seizure was imposed on this and other property and corporate rights of the company.
