President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that instructors at military educational institutions, which prepare future officers, should possess combat experience.
During a meeting with cadets, students, and military personnel on the occasion of Heroes of Kruty Memorial Day, he addressed the educators and leadership of military educational institutions, emphasizing the importance of practical understanding of modern warfare.
According to Zelensky, future officers should acquire knowledge not only from textbooks but also from instructors who have served on the front lines and understand what war looks like in real conditions. The President stressed that this is essential for the effective training of military personnel.
He also noted that everyone involved in teaching and learning must recognize what the front line is, how to achieve results in war, and to honor both living and fallen heroes.
