In Kherson, the number of casualties from the nighttime attack by Russian KABs has risen to six. There may still be people trapped under the rubble. This information was shared on the Telegram channel of the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, and on the Telegram channel of the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko.
According to Prokudin, the entire city of Kherson trembled last night from the "impact" of a Russian guided aerial bomb on a ten-story building.
As a result of the strike, 15 apartments were destroyed — from the 1st to the 10th floor of one of the entrances. Additionally, windows were shattered in 80 homes.
Currently, six people are known to have been injured due to the enemy attack. Two of them were rescued by emergency services from the 8th and 9th floors of the collapsed building.
In the hospital are twins — a boy and a girl, both 14 years old. Their condition is assessed by doctors as satisfactory.
Furthermore, a 47-year-old man was hospitalized after being in the parking attendant's room near the site of the "impact." He suffered shrapnel wounds and a broken leg bone.
Three other men received assistance on-site from paramedics. The injured individuals have concussions, and one of the residents of Kherson was diagnosed with a head injury.
Prokudin also reported that an operational headquarters of the Kherson Regional State Administration has been established at the site of the Russian attack. According to him, there may still be people trapped under the rubble.
The head of the Kherson City Military Administration noted that a vocational education institution in the central district of the city was damaged as a result of the nighttime shelling by Russian terrorists.
He stated that this educational institution has been affected by enemy shelling for the second time. The four-story building is almost entirely without windows. However, the staff of the institution were not harmed.
Rescuers are currently working at the "impact" site. The State Emergency Service has reported that emergency workers are examining the damaged floors and clearing the debris. A point of resilience has been organized on-site, providing everything necessary to charge devices, warm up, and receive psychological support. The work is ongoing.
Earlier, we reported that eight people were injured in Kherson Oblast within a single day due to Russian attacks.
