Three police officers lost their lives in the Sumy region on February 1. They were struck by an enemy airstrike while on duty.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
On the night of January 31 to February 1, the enemy launched an airstrike on the Yunakivka community, according to the report.
As a result of the Russian attack, two patrol officers who were on duty in the community's populated areas were killed.
Later, the body of another officer was discovered under the rubble, the administration added.
Russian troops consistently shell Sumy and the surrounding region. Both border areas and the regional center are under constant threat.
