In Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, the number of hazardous areas has increased, making it difficult for rescuers and evacuation vehicles to reach them.

This was announced by the head of the Pokrovsk City Military Administration, Serhiy Dobryak.

He explained that in the event of a fire in these areas, the State Emergency Service (SES) employees would be unable to provide assistance, and residents would have to leave the area on foot for evacuation.

According to Dobryak, there are currently about 7,000 civilians remaining in Pokrovsk, while approximately 10,000 people are within the Pokrovsk community. All children from the community have been evacuated, although there have been instances where families with minors returned, necessitating their re-evacuation.

It was previously reported that on January 28, Russian military forces attacked a civilian vehicle in Pokrovsk using a drone. As a result, one person was killed, and two others were injured.

On the day before, January 27, the occupiers struck the city of Rodynske near Pokrovsk. Two people were killed, and three residential buildings along with one enterprise were damaged.
