In the Kyiv region, Russian drones were shot down during the night of January 18. The attack resulted in some damage.
According to local authorities, the enemy targeted the Kyiv region using drones. The alert lasted for nearly eight hours. Air defense forces were active in the area, successfully intercepting hostile targets.
There were no casualties among the population, nor were there any hits to critical or residential infrastructure.
However, in two districts of the Kyiv region, debris damaged three private houses, two outbuildings, and four vehicles. The buildings suffered from damaged facades and roofs, with broken windows.
Investigators, forensic specialists, and bomb disposal experts from the Kyiv region police are working at the scene.
